First, TranNet has established a web-based Audition System to help professional translators enter the literary publishing field. As of September 2000, auditions have been held for 110 titles. We have also now expanded into commercial and audio-visual translation.
We also offer web-based study courses to help translators develop and improve their skills. We are now constructing the largest translation-related portal site to supply translators and clients in various categories with helpful information.
Our third business is the matching of translators and clients.
And fourth, we will introduce overseas book rights to Japanese publishers through the Internet. A vast number of foreign titles will be stored in Japanese in our data base to help publishers find the books they are looking for.
