Synopsis

Ninja's Labyrinth

Located at the end of the Silk Road, Japan was the final destination of cultures of all kinds. Cretan acrobats, Egyptian sorcerers, Persian necromancers, and Chinese moutain hermits must have come to Japan. their techniques blended and matured into a collection of techniques inherent to Japan. The Palace of Knossos was only a mythological palace until Arthur Evans excavated it and proved that it was a historical fact. The line between a myth and a historical fact is blurred. Theseus went into the labyrinth killed Minotaur and came out alive. His tactics were similar to those of Ninjas. The Bull-Jumping Fresco found in the palace shows an athlete who leaped onto the bull's horns and is about to flip over. A stunt like this is exactly one of hte basic physical skills requires of a Ninja. There is enough evidence that Bull-Jumping was performed in Ancient Egypt as well. The existence of the Palace of Knossos, the saga of Theseus and the Bull-Jumping Fresco support the assumption that the origines of the art of the Ninjas were in Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt.
