The One-Minute Charge - 70 Ways to Pep Yourself Up When You're Down (Tentative title)
Synopsis
The book is divided into five parts, each corresponding to a level of your state of mind: inwardly fuming; frustrated; listless; neither blue nor buoyant, and full of spirit.
The author, a psychological counselor, teaches you how to cope when you "feel like clobbering someone", when you have a death wish, or when you don't feel like doing anything at all. Her approach ranges from imagery techniques to changes in thinking to switching of mood. Suggestions to help you change your pace include such novel tips as warming the soles of your feet with a hairdryer, eating sweets, imitating lines from TV drama, laughing under a blanket, and stamping the ground like a sumo wrestler.
As simple and easy as they are, they're sure to make your life more comfortable, positive and happy.

Editorial Review
In the last three years, Kaori Hatou has given more than 500 lectures - from high schools and universities to government ministries to chambers of commerce to private corporations. But she did not study psychology or counseling at universities or undergo clinical experiences. It was hearing of so many cases of suicide on the news that motivated her to use her expertise as a mother and homemaker to help people go on living. This is why her Charging Therapy® is unique and easy to do.
This book is full of practical advice on having better human relations, dealing with your own emotions, coping with stress at work and at home, and living a happy life. Try some of her methods - stamp the ground like a sumo wrestler, warm the soles of your feet with a hairdryer, keep your own "pep-up file," stop saying "but," draw and paint your dreams in color! With 70 different techniques covering a wide variety of problems, this book can become a real helper for any reader.
